I downloaded and installed the latest Vista beta upgrade tonight, and am hoping to be able to roll back to the previous version of Windows I had installed. Is that possible or is a clean install needed?
Also, upon boot-up, it gives me the option to boot to a previous version, but when I select that option, then select the version to boot-up (in this case I selected Microsoft Media Center 2005), the PC just sits there with a blank screen. The HD light on the PC doesn't come on or anything. Does it take a long time to boot to a previous version or is that feature not working?
Thanks for the help!

rollback Vista beta upgrade?
Rollback is not supported. You will have to reinstall the previous version of Windows.

Rollback is only supported during the first phase of Vista setup, as Colin said, you just have to reinstall Windows XP. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta
